Turning on Utilities

 Remember to call the Utility companies to set up an account before they take their "Final Read". This should be done before you close on your new home. This is most important in the case of the water company. If they are allowed to turn off the water, it will most likely break the "stop box" which can cost you anywhere from $1500 to $3500 to repair
