I moved to Des Moines in the late 90's from Missouri to continue my career in broadcasting. I worked for a local station called The Hawk 97.3 and had great time in the years that I was there. It gave me a chance to meet a lot of great people in central Iowa and make some really good friends. If you get a chance tune to our real estate show on 98.3 WOW FM on Saturday at noon, Moving Iowa. I don't think I would be happy doing just one thing so I now work for Iowa Realty and I get great joy out of working with good people. If you can help someone with the biggest purchase of their lives and know the joy it can bring them you really can't find a more rewarding career. I have lived in several places & living here is the best. My work history, both as a worker bee and management, included serving in the military for three and one half years, advertising, manufacturing, purchasing, sales and the phone company. JC and I have a weekly real estate show we call Moving Iowa at 98.3 Wow FM, noon to one, on Saturday. We truly enjoy broadcasting information to the public that they might not get any other way. Running a distributing company for six years before real estate was enjoyable, but I was looking for something totally different and decided that real estate could be it. I was right! This is one of the most enjoyable professions that I have ever worked at. Helping people find their new home is important to me. My pledge to you is that I will treat you the way I wanted to be treated when I moved and looked for a home seven times. With hard work, respect, concern and patience. Tom Malicoat
